Charlotte is a chartered clinical psychologist with nearly 20 years’ experience across the NHS, private practice, government departments and charitable organisations providing individual therapy, training and consultation to teams and organisations.
Charlotte has worked with children and young people, with people who have learning disabilities, with adults who have personality disorders and with those engaged with the criminal justice system. Charlotte has acted as an Expert Witness for legal proceedings since 2009. In her private practice with CoHS, she provides psychological therapy to adults for a range of mental health difficulties - including depression, anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder. She is trained to administer various psychometric tests - risk assessments, cognitive and memory assessments, as well as in-depth personality assessments.
Charlotte has a special interest in PTSD and trauma interventions and is trained in both EMDR and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. She has worked with the Armed Forces Veterans Mental Health Charity, providing individual interventions as well as training on trauma and veteran-specific mental health needs. Charlotte also works with Complex-PTSD and the more entrenched difficulties that might arise from the impact of childhood trauma - such as difficulties in functioning and in relationships.
Charlotte works online as well as face-to-face and is based in our Bath team.
