Victoria is the Clinical Director of the practice. She has 25 years' experience working in the NHS and private sector and has also previously taught on the Bristol Doctorate in Clinical Psychology training course.
She has specialist skills in working with occupational stress and burn-out, complex depression, poor self-esteem, anxiety disorders, personality problems and relationship difficulties. She is experienced in working with trauma, abuse and adult learning disabilities. One of her main areas of practice these days is with perfectionism and Type A personalities. She usually works within a cognitive behavioural framework and draws on dialectical behavioural, schema-focused, metacognitive and mindfulness-based interventions, in which she trained at the Oxford Cognitive Therapy Centre.
A kind and supportive practitioner, Victoria is committed to her clients and facilitating change to achieve their goals.
She offers consultancy on mental health to other professionals in both the business and in healthcare industries.
